Punch Art
Punch Art is what you get when you mix punches and paper with imagination.
The punchies are great to accent your pages with, but there as so many
other things that you can make with them. With just a little creativity,
anything is possible. Here is a list of some of the
neat things you can make with punches below.
Let your Imagination Soar!
You don't have to just use your punch for the intended purpose. Be creative,
combine shapes to make new ones. Here is a list of some of the
common punches and some things that you can do with them.
- Heart -- wings, legs, feet, butterflies, rabbits, cats, flower petals, etc.
- Scallop -- baby bib, hair, sheep, title square
- House -- birdhouse, put snow on the roof, cabin
- Egg -- easter eggs, Christmas lights, eyes
- Bears -- kids, snowman, make clothes for the other bears, make party animals
- Small Cloud -- paws, smoke, fur, hair, hands
- Cross -- fence post, train track, tombstone, presents, sword
- Suns -- sun, grass blades, sunflowers, other cool flowers, spiders
- Swirls -- birthday confetti, whiskers, tails, bug antennas, snails, hair
- Squares -- presents, cars, triangles
- Maple Leaf -- wings, leaf for flowers
- Birch Leaf -- flower leaf, wing, ears
- Circles -- ears, eyes, nose, body, mouth, flower center, balls, Christmas ornaments, sun, moon
- Snowflakes -- ribbon, feet, legs, tassels, claws, other snowflakes
- Castle -- sand castle
- Music Note -- sound of music, legs, arms, hair
- Star -- beak, ornaments, legs
- Airplane -- wings, eye brows, bird feet, legs
- Birthday Cake -- use base as a stand, candles as eyes, bug antennas, hat
- Palm Tree -- hair, flower stem,
- Splat! -- paint splat, water splat, mud splat, paint ball splat
This guy is just made with different size hearts.
This scene used the house punch, bird punch, square punch and the small circle punch.
This is my version of the duck pond. I used the circle, star, small circle, large circle, and the heart punches.
Our new store logo used the large butterfly punch and the swishes from the Splat! punch.
